Introduction to Heavy Metal Engraving 101 course (11 am – 3:30 pm)

The 101 class is our most popular, it is an introductory 2-day session where you will learn the basic essentials of engraving from beginning to end.  We will start with an introductory of various wide-range of tools and engraving fundamentals. Then study different cutting techniques, various cutting edges, and other engraving applications such as plastic and glass. You will learn the difference between etching and deep metal engraving, and other variations such as the use of the rotary (Dremel) or pneumatic type engraving machine. Class will also instruct graver sharpening techniques unique to E3 which makes the bright cuts you see online or on our IG page. Students do not need to know how to draw, drill, or dunk (lol) to start engraving. In class you will learn helpful tips for beginners how to start drawing scrolls and enhance that artistic skill.
