The E3 Handheld Hammer Handpiece features several upgraded components for improved performance and durability:
Larger-diameter hose

Two interchangeable fittings included
Two Fittings Included
The handpiece comes with two fittings:
Standard Fitting – Softer Hit
Installed on the handpiece and ideal for lighter engraving work.
Large Fitting – HARD Hit
Included separately and provides a stronger, harder impact. For general deep metal engraving, we recommend using the larger fitting.
The fittings can easily be changed by the user depending on the type of engraving being performed.
IMPORTANT – Maintenance Required
The handpiece MUST be opened and the piston oiled every 20 hours of use.
Failure to properly oil the piston can cause the handpiece to overheat and the piston to seize.
If the handpiece overheats or seizes:
Allow the handpiece to completely cool down.
Unscrew and open the handpiece.
Remove and oil the piston.
Reassemble the handpiece.
The piston is the bullet-sized metal piece with indented rings along its sides.
Reassembly Order
  Spring → Piston → Screw the handpiece back together
Regular lubrication will help prevent overheating, reduce wear, and keep the handpiece operating properly.

Be sure to oil the piston regularly and take proper care of the handpiece. With proper use and maintenance, the handpiece can provide hundreds of hours of reliable operation.
